So I'm also getting the irritating "atos needs to take control of another process. This time Powerpoint crashed and Word was ok. Re opened Power Point, tried to open a file (File-Open, you know, nothing really otherworldly.) and again, spinning ball of death. Had to Force Quit and LOSE ALL MY WORK.įollowed some instructions from Luis Mercado dated Oct 23 on this site which had loads of "this worked for me" messages. nothing at all I could do - waited, closed other stuff. At which point Word stopped responding, spinning ball. I used Word for a while, made a bunch of edits to a document and then tried to open a power point file to copy in a chart.
